Considering your Medicare Supplement Options?

Medicare Supplements are standardized insurance plans that fill in the gaps for Seniors on Medicare. Medicare pays a large percentage of the claim in the hospital and a smaller percentage at the doctor’s office; but still, it does not cover all medical costs. For details on the supplement plans available, please request our 2022 “updated plan comparisons” below.

Most people considering Medicare have reached age 65, and have both part A and part B of Medicare. As you may know, Medicare often does not cover the entire claim. In the hospital, there is the initial inpatient deductible and other copays that are covered by the beneficiary. Under part B, Medicare pays 80% for outpatient services, which include seeing your doctor or specialist, outpatient testing, and other outpatient services. In addition to the areas that Medicare does not cover a claim, Medicare generally does not cover prescription medications unless the beneficiary elects Rx coverage under Part D of Medicare.
Original Medicare provides benefits on a national basis, with any hospital or physician’s office that accepts Medicare. To Qualify for Medicare, seniors can contact the CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) for details to apply for Part A and Part B.
